Name : Dr. K.S. Sandhu Brief Introduction K.S.Sandhu become  Head of Department of Epidemiology & Preventive Veterinary Medicine, in 2002. He graduated in Veterinary Medicine from PAU, Ludhiana in 1982 and did Master’s in Veterinary Microbiology. He joined in College of Veterinary Science faculty as Assistant Professor in 1984. He was awarded with Common Health Scholarship to undertake Ph.D. in Canada. He completed Ph.D. from University of Guelph, Canada in 1996. He has 40 research publications to his credit and supervised 6 postgraduate students. His research field is Virulence factors and Molecular Epidemiology of E.Coli Salmonella and Brucella. At present 3 Ph.D. students are working in his laboratory. He took over the charge  of  Director Students Welfare-cum-Estate Officer, GADVASU in april 2006 and also took over the additional charge of Director of Extension Education from 2nd June, 2010.
