Name : Dr. S.N.S Randhawa Brief Introduction Dr. Sarnarinder Singh Randhawa, Dean Postgraduate Studies, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary   And  Animal  Sciences  University,  Ludhiana, India, was  born on 23rd September  1955 . He did  his  B.V.Sc. & A. H. (1977) and  M.V.Sc. (1979)  from Punjab  Agricultural  University , Ludhiana  and  Ph.D.  from  Mathura Veterinary College of C.S.A. University  of  Agriculture  and Technology, Kanpur (UP) ( 1993). His field of specialization is Veterinary Medicine. He  has over 30 years of experience of teaching, research and extension including over 5 years & 8 months as Head of Department of Veterinary Medicine including Deptt. of Clinical Veterinary Medicine E&J; He is the senior most Professor of GADVASU. He has been awarded as Joint Team Leader of  Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Award for Team Research in Animal Sciences (1989-90)  and ICAR Jawaharlal Nehru Award for outstanding Postgraduate(Doctoral) Research in Agriculture in the field of Animal Sciences in 1994.  Research papers presented in 10 international conferences/symposia in Brazil, U.S.A., Italy, U.K., Germany, France, Holland and Finland & 8 international conferences in India. Published more than 200 original Research Papers in various national and international journals of repute. He is elected Fellow, NAAS India, NAVS India, ISVM India, National Academy of Sciences  for Animal Welfare, IAAVR India; Member of Research Advisory Committee of CSWRI. Avikanagar, Rajasthan (2002-2005). He is recipient of many Gold Medals by scientific societies including Gold Medal on Bovine Medicine (1995), D.C.
