farmers of district Tarn Taran at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Booh, Tarn Taran. A total 20 participants comprising rural farmers and unemployed youth participated in this training programme. Dr. Balwinder Kumar, Deputy Director (Training), KVK, Tarn Taran inaugurated the training programme and welcomed all the participants. knowledge regarding rearing of goats to the farmers and rural youth for earning good profit from this venture. Dr. Shasipal, Assistant Professor imparted technical knowhow on different aspect of goat farming viz. breeds, housing requirement and nutrition of goats. Dr. Balwinder Kumar, Deputy Director delivered lecture about feed and fodder requirements for profitable and economical goat farming. In this programme different expert from Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana were also invited to deliver lectures on various aspects of goat farming. Dr. Balwinder Kumar appreciated the participants for involving actively in such training programme. The training programme was coordinated by Dr. Shasipal and Mr. Navjot Singh
