At present, the college is housed in the following buildings:

4. Dr. G.S. Sidhu Animal Nutrition Centre
5. Experimental Animal and Breeding Farms:
   i) Dairy Animal Breeding Farm
  ii) Poultry Breeding Farm
  iii) Veterinary Experimental Animal Farm
  iv) Instructional Animal Farm
   v) Goat farm

6. Veterinary Postmortem Hall and experimental herd for infectious diseases complex.
7. Animal Disease Research Centre
8. Computer Centre
9. Veterinary Students Hostel complex.

The college has a well equipped Veterinary Teaching Hospital to cater the demands of large and small animal health and provide specialized treatment for the referred livestock patients and also provide clinical training to the students. In addition the college also has dairy and poultry farms which provide adequate facilities for teaching and research.


CENTRE OF ADVANCED STUDIES
The Indian Council of Agricultural Research has recognized following departments in the College of Vety. Science as Centre of Advanced Studies.


i) Department of Animal Reproduction, Gynaecology and Obstetrics.
ii) Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology.


BOOK BANK
A Book Bank of College of Veterinary Science was established in August 1986 to provide textbooks to the students by purchasing their multiple copies and is located in the main Veterinary College complex. Book Bank has now more than 2700 textbooks in various subjects of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry. Books are purchased out of the grant received from Director Social Welfare, Punjab and ICAR, New Delhi under the scheme “Strengthening of Book Banks in Agricultural Universities”.


R&V Sqn. NCC
In the year 1984, Remote Veterinary Corps NCC programme was started and has been made compulsory for all undergraduate students of College of Veterinary Science, They are required to undergo compulsory RVC training for first two years with 0+2 non-credit hours load every semester. The Pb R & V Squadron NCC is stationed at the campus and has its own riding school comprising of riding arena and facilities for horse jumping. The Squadron has 10 riding horses for giving practice to students.
