Krishi Vigyan Kendra, S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali) celebrated World Sparrow Day and world Oral Health Day on 20th March, 2018 at village 
Fatehpur Taprian and village Chanalon. Total 63 farmers and farm women participated during this event. Deputy Director, KVK (Mohali) Dr. Yashwant Singh told that most of the common birds are decreasing at an alarming rate. We have to help them by installing bird nest boxes and feeders. In addition he also guided the participants to clean their mouth on the occasion of World Oral Health Day. He stressed the importance of mouth cleanliness because mouth is the main window of our body. Mouth cleanliness prevents the human body from the attack of many harmful diseases. In addition he also guided the farmers regarding techniques of teeth cleaning and to stay healthy. DR. Harmeet Kaur, Dr. Munish Sharma, Dr. Vikas Phulia, and Dr. Shashipal from KVK, Mohali were present during this event.
