12 January 2012 - Vet Varsity is going to organize book exhibition

Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University is organising a fifth book exhibition on January 17 and 18 at the University Campus. The book exhibition will be open to faculty and students on both days.

          Dr. V.K. Taneja, Worthy Vice-chancellor, GADVASU, will inaugurate the exhibition on January 17 at 11.00 am in the examination hall of College of Veterinary Science.

          Dr. R.S Brar the University Librarian, GADVASU has informed that 20 renowned book sellers/ publishers from all over India including New Delhi, Lucknow, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Rohtak and Ludhiana shall exhibit books on the different disciplines of Veterinary, Animal Sciences, Dairy Technology, Fisheries, Biotechnology and other allied areas. This book exhibition will play a pivotal role in bringing recent books of Veterinary Science, Dairy Science, Fisheries and allied sciences under one roof and will motivate scientists and academicians to have first-hand look on latest books of various subjects of their interest. It will also be a booster for students to develop the habit of reviewing books of their subjects.
