Name : Dr P.D. Juyal Brief Introduction Dr. Prayag Dutt Juyal, did his B.V.Sc. & A.H. (1977), M.V.Sc (1979), from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar and Ph.D. (1987) from CCS, HAU, Hissar. Prof.  Juyal served in various capacities in Universities i.e. RAU Pusa, G.B. Pant University of Agri. & Technology, Pantnagar, Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. Dr. Juyal has largely contributed in the areas of veterinary protozoology and helminthology for diagnosis and control. He has more than 100 research publications, 47 popular articles, co-author of one "Textbook on Veterinary Parasitology", and 13 papers in proceedings in journal of national and in international repute. He has guided three Ph.D and six M.V.Sc. students. He was awarded jointly Dr. B.V. Rao Gold Medal for publication of research article in Indian Veterinary Journal and Prof. V.S. Alwar memorial award for article published in Journal  of Veterinary Parasitology. He is presently Vice-President of Indian Society for Parasitology, General Secretary, Indian Association for Advancement of Veterinary Parasitology (IAAVP). He is also life member of different national societies. He is CPCSEA nominee from the Ministry of Forests and Environment & Forests for many pharmacy colleges of Punjab for a period of 3 years. He is fellow of National Academy of Veterinary Sciences and IAAVP. He is chairman Indian group of NTTAT (OIE). He is member of project review committee Uttarakhand Science and Technology. He is on the panel as standing Committee member AITVM (Association of Institutions of Tropical Veterinary Medicine) the Netherlands.
