Centrifuge should have a capacity to centrifuge atleast 24 and preferably provision of maximum of 48 x 1.5/2ml, 24 or more Spin Columns, 16 or more 5ml tubes and 6or more 15/50ml tubes.

Temperature range: should be between -10?C or less to 40?C.

Timer range: 10 s to 99hr59min, continuous with 1s increment.

Control System: Microprocessor

Imbalance detection system: should have robust imbalance detection system.

Rotor should have the following specification:

Fixed angle metallic autoclaveable rotor for 24 or more slots (with a maximum of 48) for1.5 ml/2ml tubes with 12600rpm / 18200g or more, including Aerosol tight and quick locks sealing Lid.

Fixed angle metallic autoclaveable rotor for 6 or more slots for 5/15/50ml falcon tubes/round bottom tubes with 5 and 15 ml adapters/reducers with 7500rpm/7500g or more, including Aerosol tight and quick lock sealing Lid.

Provision of push button and auto lock system of rotor with machine system will be preferred. If not available, for easy replacement, easy tool kits to remove and locking rotor should be made available with assured locking system for rotor and machine system. In that case automatic rotor recognition facility should be made available.

Must have future upgradtion facility to add optional rotors and accessories like capacity to accommodate Microtitre plates, PCR and Deep well Plates or swinging bucket motor facility with minimum capacity of 4x145 ml with buckets and lids.

Guarantee/Warranty: Instrument should be supplied with standard warranty for a minimum of 2 years (compulsory) or more and should have trouble free performance. Also quote AMC charges for further 2 years (with 1 year as free AMC as preferable).

In case of foreign currency transactions, the day of opening of tender(s) will be considered for the date of financial transaction made and therefore the existing rate of currency conversion on the said date and time would be considered (fixed) for final payment, and no part of any financial or administrative liability would levied be to university’s administration or to any personnel in any form, thereafter.

Additionally, on foreign currency transactions, the necessary miscellaneous expenditures like making Form15A and its subsequent verification by Chartered Accountant (CA) would be borne by supplier(s)/distributor(s)/company official(s) as deemed necessary.

Installations and Initial Training to end users:

The successful tenderer shall carry out necessary installations free of cost and should provide testing, demonstration of equipment with optimal functional features to the end users at the time of installations. Post delivery technical support from company recognized or by authorized engineers should be provided as and when required.

The successful tenderer shall deliver the instrument/equipment at the site as FOR GADVASU.

Manufacturer/Distributor should provide the list of latest installations of similar equipments in an around North India over a period of last two years.
