November 26

In a significant step towards improving the learning experience of veterinary internship & Post-graduate students, the "Ready-to-Refer Library" was officially inaugurated today at the Dialysis Unit of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. The event was graced by Dr. JPS Gill, Vice Chancellor of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, along with distinguished guests Prof. Jay Willson and Kent Heckler, both renowned experts in veterinary education & curriculum mapping.
The newly established Online & Offline library aims to provide veterinary students with immediate access to critical educational resources, enhancing their ability to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of renal diseases in animals. Located within the Dialysis Unit, the library is equipped with a range of books, journals, and digital materials focused on veterinary nephrology, dialysis techniques, ultrasound, cardiology and critical care. This strategic location ensures that students can easily refer to relevant materials while engaged in hands-on clinical work, thus strengthening the connection between theory and practice.

By enabling interns to access expert knowledge in real-time, we are enhancing their clinical decision-making skills and improving patient outcomes,” he said.
