Area of Research Interests

  • Research was undertaken on Occurrence of Neoplasms in canine. The study on transitional cell carcinoma of urinary bladder in buffalo explained the altered qualitative changes in expression of various cytokeratin proteins (CKs) (a key component of cytoskeleton structure), necessary for normal differentiation, permeability functions, and elasticity functions of transitional cells. First case of Prenatal cerebrospinal nematodiasis in aborted Lamb was reported wherein parasite was shown within the lumen of cerebral blood vessels and the blood vessels revealed a thrombus inside it. The cause of abortions was identified and resultantly the incidence of abortions decreased at sheep farm at J&K. A comprehensive paper elucidating details of pathology ensued after snake bite was reported. The complete pathological report describes pathological alterations at site of bite (depicting fang marks- shown for the first time in buccal cavity) besides alterations in other visceral organs was reported in detail.
