Dr. Kuldip Gupta joined as Dean, College of Veterinary Science, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Rampura Phul on 11.08.2025. Before joining as Dean, Dr. Gupta was serving as Head, Department of Veterinary Pathology, College of Veterinary Science, Ludhiana. He is a Gold Medallist in B.V.Sc. & A.H. and ICAR Junior Research Fellowship holder during M.V.Sc. programme. He did in-service Ph.D. from GADVASU, Ludhiana. Dr. Gupta is an industrious researcher and a devoted teacher. Dr. Gupta has a rich experience in the fields of Clinical Pathology, Surgical Pathology, Oncology and Avian Pathology and has significantly contributed in the teaching, research and extension activities of the University. He has successfully handled 06 research projects funded by agencies like UGC, DBT, SERB and ICAR-NAHEP as Co-Principal Investigator. He has guided 7 M.V.Sc. and 2 Ph.D. students and published more than 350 publications including research papers, review articles, conference papers, extension articles and manuals. He has several awards and honours to his credit, including Fellowship of the Indian Association of Veterinary Pathologists (FIAVP), member of team awarded Drs. Nemi Chand Jain and Jawahar Lal Vegad Award for Outstanding Research in Veterinary Pathology, Prof. (Dr.) S. Ramachandran Memorial Molecular Oncology Award and Dr. Patri Rama Rao Award for best Ph.D. thesis. Dr. Gupta is also a Diplomate of Indian College of Veterinary Pathologists (ICVP).
