My research has uncovered the presence of pathogenic E. coli in Indian major carps from the northeast region, highlighting a new concern for public health. Further, I ve explored the impact of drying processes on fishs nutritional profile, analyzing changes in its proteome, fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals. My current focus is on developing value-added fish products and maximizing the utilization of fish waste for sustainable food and non-food applications. This research aims to enhance food security, promote public health, and contribute to a circular economy within the fishing industry
