  • The specialized subject is aquaculture in which the preferred areas for teaching are such as soil and water chemistry, freshwater aquaculture, brackishwater aquaculture, finfish and shellfish breeding and hatchery management, culture of fish food organisms, modern advanced aquaculture system etc.

Area of Research Interests

  • Modern aquaculture system like biofloc technology and re-circulatory aquaculture system. Culture fish food organisms. Culture of microalgae. Breeding and seed production of catfishes like magur and Singhi. Diversification of new species in freshwater like chital and in inland saline water like milk fish, mullet, sea bass etc.
