                        Applications from the eligible candidates are invited for the following posts on the prescribed form (along with detailed qualifications, experience and other relevant information) obtainable from the office of Registrar GADVASU, Ludhiana on any working day from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.  in cash at the counter or by sending Bank Draft in favour of the COMPTROLLER, GADVASU, Ludhiana along with self addressed envelope (28x12cms) bearing postage stamps of Rs 45/-. The application forms can also be downloaded from the University website. Last date for receipt of complete applications is 08.07.2014:-

Important:
  1. (a) The prescribed application form may be obtained from the office of Registrar, GADVASU, Ludhiana from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.  on all working days on payment of Rs. 300/- for the posts at Sr. Nos. 1 to 27, either in cash at the counter or by sending Bank Draft in favour of the COMPTROLLER, GADVASU, Ludhiana alongwith self addressed envelope (28x12cms) bearing postage stamps of Rs 45/-. The application forms may also be downloaded from the University website. The duly completed application forms with prescribed fee as under in the form of Bank Draft in favour of COMPTROLLER, GADVASU payable at Ludhiana should reach in the office of Registrar, GADVASU, Ludhiana by 08.07.2014:

         3.  For posts at Sr. Nos. 1 to 3: outside candidates (other than those working in GADVASU) can be taken on deputation.

         4.         For posts at Sr. No. 1 to 4: These are tenure posts for a term of four years.     

 
5.     Applications, which are incomplete/not on the prescribed form/received after the due  date/received without the     prescribed application fee shall not be considered. The University shall not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit.
 
6.        Self addressed envelope (9”x4”) along with postal stamps of Rs.25/- must be attached with the application form.
 
7.        The University reserves the right to increase, decrease or withdraw any post indicated in the Advertisement.
 
8.        In-service candidate should apply through proper channel.
 
9.        For posts at Sr. Nos. 1 to 26 the minimum age of entry is 18 years and retirement age is 60 years.
 
10.    For posts at Sr. Nos. 27 to 30 the minimum age of entry is 18 years and not more than 37 years as on last date for receipt of applications.
 
11.     Appointment to the posts at Sr. Nos. 6 to 8, 15, 16 and 23 to 25 shall be co-terminus with the scheme in which these are provided.
 
12.     For posts at Sr. No. 26 and 28 to 30 the appointments are initially for a period of six months. The period of contract may be extended further, if needed.
 
13.    For posts at Sr. No. 26 and 28 to 30 appointments being contractual are liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any reason.
 
14.     For posts at Sr. No.4, the candidates who have already applied in response to the Advt. No. 03/2013, need not to apply afresh. However, they may update their qualifications, experience etc. if any, by sending their request on plain paper before the last date for receipt of applications.
 
15.      For posts at Sr. No. 8, 9 and 12 the candidates who have already applied in response to the Advt. No. 02/2013, need not to apply afresh. However, they may update their qualifications, experience etc. if any, by sending their request on plain paper before the last date for receipt of applications.
 
16.     For posts at Sr. Nos. 5 to 25, and 27, 3% of the posts are reserved for physically handicapped  persons with 40% or more disability and the breakup of this reservation is as under:-
 
           i)        Blindness of low vision                                                  1%
           ii)       Hearing Impairment                                                      1%
           iii)      Loco motor disability or Cerebral palsy                           1%
                  (orthopedically impaired). 
 
       Attested copies of the Certificates regarding proof of handicapped and extent thereof, issued by Civil Surgeon of the District or place of which applicant is a permanent resident should be attached. It would also be certified in the medical certificate that the applicant is otherwise fit for the post he/she is applying for.  However, if eligible persons are not found available in response to this advertisement, the posts will be filled out of other category/categories and the posts meant for persons with disabilities shall be carried forward to be filled up from future vacancies.
 
17.     For post at serial No. 27, the reservation and relaxation in age shall be as per Punjab Govt. rules.
 
18.     50% exemption in examination fee will be given to the physically handicapped persons. 
 
19.     No T.A./ D.A. will be paid.
 
20.   Any dispute arising out of anything in connection with this advertisement with the University will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts situated at Ludhiana only.
