Ncc Cadets Of Veterinary University Shine In Republic Day Camp

Cadets of 1 PB R & V SQN NCC, Ludhiana, GADVASU, showcased exceptional excellence at the Republic Day Camp Horse Riding Competitions 2026, bringing great pride to the institution. Sergeant Lovepreet Kaur delivered a stellar performance by winning silver medals in Dressage and Showjumping Topscore, a bronze in Showjumping Fault-n-Out, the prestigious Best Showjumping Six Bar Trophy and was declared Best Horse Rider (Girls) Runner-Up. Sergeant Arpit Mourya added to the glory by securing a bronze medal in Showjumping Fault-n-Out.
Sergeant Krish Tuteja secured overall 4th position in Tent Pegging and got a chance to participate in the prestigious Dr. Roop Jyoti Sharma Tent Pegging Trophy event. He was also bestowed with the prestigious honor of giving the Standing Salute to the DG NCC and DG RVS during the Republic day camp annual Horse Show 2026.
Corporal Samreet Kaur performed admirably in Dressage, giving tough competition. At the Prime Minister’s NCC Rally 2026, Sergeant Krish Tuteja got the honour of leading the entire parade by heading the R&V contingent, the first contingent in the formation, carrying the National Flag astride horse Gulshan in front of the Hon’ble Prime Minister. Sergeant Lovepreet Kaur, Corporal Samreet Kaur and Sergeant Arpit Mourya all were part of the contingent in PM Rally. Colonel A.S. Rao was all praise for these cadets and motivated the junior cadets to follow them.
Dr. Swaran Singh Randhawa praised the cadets for their commitment inspite of their hectic study schedules. Dr. J.P.S. Gill, worthy Vice-Chancellor congratulated the cadets and said that this achievement of the cadets is a matter of immense pride for the whole University. He also praised the Officers and staff of the NCC Unit for motivating and training cadets and the results achieved were testament to the hardwork put in by Unit staff and the students.
