
Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University , Ludhiana is organizing a 21 days, National level advanced training course on “Current Trends in Veterinary Surgery and Imaging Techniques” under the aegis of Center of Advanced Faculty Training (CAFT), ICAR. Dr. SNS Randhawa, Director Research cum Dean PGS, GADVASU, who is also co-ordinator of CAFT programme inaugurated the training.

Surgical management of ophthalamic diseases, diaphragmatic hernia in cow and buffaloes, urinary tract disorders and other soft tissue procedures will be demonstrated under inhalant anaesthetic procedures. Diagnosis of various surgical affections by computerized radiography, ultrasonographic and ultrasound guided biopsy procedures will be discussed. Faculty members and experts from other state universities have been invited to deliver expert lectures and practical demonstration during the training programme. Dr S.S.
