Vet Varsity Scientist brings laurels at National Seminar
Indian Society of Extension Education (ISEE) of ICAR-IARI, New Delhi, bestowed fellowship of the society to Director of Extension Education, GADVASU Dr. H.K. Verma and honored for the lead paper and chairing the session. Dr. Verma was honored for the exemplary work in the field of Livestock Extension through developing various ICT Tools, literature and extension material for the farmers. Scientists, teachers and students from Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension Education (VAHEE), Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana attended the National Seminar on "Socio-Digital Approaches for Transforming Indian Agriculture" organized by ISEE at CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar.
Dr. H.K. Verma chaired one technical session and presented a lead paper “Multisided, Multitier Extension Approaches’ and Digital Strategies of Veterinary Varsity for Sustainable Livestock Development”. It is pertinent to mention that Dr. Verma is also recipient of fellowship of National Academy of Veterinary Science (NAVS). Dr. Y.S. Jadoun (Assistant Professor, VAHEE) awarded with Young Scientist Award, for the excellent extension research and services for the farmers during the National Seminar. Further, he also presented a research work in the form of poster on “Group Dynamics of Livestock based Self Help Groups (SHGs)” which was appreciated by the many researchers and delegates attended the conference. Dr. A.S. Nanda, Vice Chancellor, GADVASU congratulated scientists and students for bringing glory to Vet Varsity at National Level.
