Directorate of Clinics, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana organized one day COVID-19 vaccination camp at Veterinary hospital of the university in association with Civil Surgeon Office, Ludhiana.
The vaccination drive was started at 9:30 am in the presence of Dr. S S Randhawa, Director of Clinics, GADVASU. Dr. Kartik Bansal, Medical Officer, supervised the vaccination team of the health department, Government of Punjab for this vaccination program. A total of 405 individuals including clinicians, interns, postgraduate students, veterinary pharmacists, lab technicians and other employees of the university were benefitted from the vaccination camp.
Dr. S P S Ghuman, Dean, College of Veterinary Science, motivated the hospital staff for the vaccination to keep themselves and their contacts safe from COVID-19. He welcomed the vaccination team from Civil Surgeon Office and appreciated the kind support from the health department to organize this vaccination camp. He also thanked the Deputy Commissioner Office, Ludhiana for his kind support in conduct of the vaccination camp.
Dr. Inderjeet Singh, Vice-Chancellor congratulated the organizers for the successful completion of the vaccination camp. He said that Central and State Government are doing wonderful job for the health and safety of citizens against COVID-19 pandemic.
