Dr Rajesh Kasrija, Associate Professor, Department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension Education, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University was honored with Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Best Teacher Award 2021 in Veterinary Extension Education on National Teachers Day by Center for Professional Advancement (CPACE), which is an International Multidisciplinary Research Foundation, registered with Government of India NITI Aayog. Dr Rajesh Kasrija has authored 6 books, 43 research articles, 46 research abstracts, 153 extension articles, 12 leaflets and 5 extension bulletins. He has guided three postgraduate students. Beside, teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, he is actively engaged in extension activities of Veterinary University.
Another feather in the cap of GADVASU is by Dr Sukhwinder Singh, Former M.V. Sc. Student of Department of Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Extension Education, who was honored with Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Best Researcher award 2021 in Veterinary Extension Education. The research topic of Dr Sukhwinder Singh was “Training need assessment of goat farmers in Punjab”. He has authored 7 research articles and 2 research abstracts from his research findings.
