Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana, hosted the 39th Annual Convention of ISSAR (The Indian Society for Study of Animal Reproduction) and a National Symposium on "Enhancing Livestock Reproducti
ve Efficiency: An Indian Perspective". Faculty and students from Department of Veterinary Gynaecology and Obstetrics, along with Livestock Farms representatives, actively engaged in the conference. Their research presentations generated significant interest and garnered a total of 12 awards (7 for faculty and 5 for students).
Dr. Bilawal Singh garnered a triple win: Best Young Scientist Award for oral presentation (co-authored by Sarvpreet Singh Ghuman, Ratan Kumar Choudhary, Hitesh Rana, Ajeet Kumar, Mrigank Hon
parkhe), 2nd Best Poster Presentation Award (co-authored by Amandeep Singh) and 3rd Best poster Presentation Award (co-authored by Sarvpreet Singh Ghuman, Amandeep Singh, Parminder Singh). Dr. Nakul Gulia achieved a double win: Best Young Scientist Award for poster presentation (co-authored by Prince Kamboj, Amarjeet Bisla and Jagmeet Kaur) and Best Poster Presentation (co-authored by Amarjeet Bisla, Dipti Nain, Rajat Sood and Siddhartha Deshmukh). Dr. Reetinder Singh earned a double win: Best Young Scientist Award for poster presentation (co-authored by Prahlad Singh, Rajat Sood and Bilawal Singh) and Third Best Oral Presentation (co-authored by Prahlad Singh, Ashwani Kumar Singh, Mrigank
Honparkhe and Mandeep Singh). Dr Amarjeet Bisla secured Best Young Scientist Award for Oral presentation (co-authored by Nakul Gulia, Tanvir Singh Sidhu and Jitender Mohindroo). Dr. Harnoor K Dhindsa received the Best Young Scientist Award for poster presentation (co-authored by Reetinder Singh, Gurtaj Singh, Khushpreet Singh and Narinder Singh). Dr Ajeet Kumar claimed the Best Oral Presentation Award (co-authored by Manvi Gupta, Ashwani Kumar Singh, Mrigank Honparkhe, Bilawal Singh, Udeybir Singh Chahal and Amarjeet Bisla). Dr. Tanvir Singh Sidhu achieved the 2nd Best Oral Presentation Award (co-authored by Gurbeer Singh Sandhu, Amarjeet Bisla, Khushpreet Singh and Prahlad Singh). Dr. Jay Pancholi bagged the 3rd Best Oral Presentation Award (co-authored by Nakul Gulia and Amarjeet Bisla).
