The Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle (GGSSC), Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University Unit, organized a noble Langar Sewa during the counselling sessions for admission to B.V.Sc. & A.H. and the Diploma in Veterinary Science programmes at
University campus.
The Langar Sewa was arranged to serve students and their parents who had come from different parts of Punjab and neighbouring states to attend the counselling process. Volunteers of the Study Circle worked with dedication and humility to ensure that all visitors were provided with nutritious food in a spirit of equality and fraternity, upholding the tradition of sewa (selfless service).
The activity was led by Dr. J.S. Hundal, president with the overall coordination of Dr. Devendra Pathak, General Secretary. The dedicated team of members included Mr. Dilchain Singh, Mr. Sarabjit Singh, Dr. Harkirat Singh, Mr. Rashpal Singh, Dr. Jujhar Singh, Mr. Harjot Singh and several other enthusiastic volunteers who actively contributed to the success of the initiative.
Dr. J.P.S. Gill, Vice Chancellor expressed his deep appreciation for the commendable service rendered by the Study Circle. He conveyed a warm message acknowledging the importance of such acts of community service in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for students and their families. The event not only provided meals but also strengthened the spirit of togetherness, reflecting the values of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and reinforcing the commitment of GGSSC towards social service and youth development
