Paper, Colours and Clay Create an Artistic Symphony on Day Two of Vet Varsity Youth Festival

The second day of the 14th Youth Festival of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana came alive with vibrant hues of creativity as students showcased their talent in Collage Making, On-the-Spot Painting, and Clay Modeling. The events brought together imagination, skill and youthful enthusiasm, turning the campus into a bustling hub of artistic expression.
Dr. Jatinder Paul Singh Gill, Vice-Chancellor said that students, participating in the youth festival are cultural ambassadors of our institute. With their sparkling activities this university becomes a hub of versatility. He encouraged the students to participate with full zeal and enthusiasm.  
Dr. R.S. Aulakh, Director Students’ Welfare, said that the Youth Festival serves as a platform for nurturing confidence, courage, wisdom, time management and a sense of adventure among students. He emphasized that such events help inculcate cultural values, respect for heritage, and appreciation for art among the youth. 
Dr. S.P.S. Ghuman, Organizing Secretary, detailed the events of the day. The themes for the Collage Making competition were ‘Still life’ or 'Beach'. The On-the-Spot Painting competition, organised at the Administrative Block. The Clay Modeling themes were 'Juggler' or 'Village girl with small animal'. All the events received enthusiastic participation from different constituent and affiliated colleges of the university. Participants represented the College of Veterinary Science (Ludhiana & Rampura Phul), College of Dairy and Food Science Technology, College of Fisheries, College of Animal Biotechnology, Veterinary Polytechnic Kaljharani, and Khalsa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Amritsar. 
Dr. Ghuman further informed that Rangoli Making (9:00 a.m), Installation (12:00 noon), Elocution and Poetry (3:00 p.m) will be held on November 28, 2025, in morning at the Examination Hall of the College of Veterinary Science and in the afternoon at College of Animal Biotechnology.
