otional fervour was heightened by soulful Gurbani kirtan recited by the jatha of Bhai Achar Singh Ji Khalsa and Bhai Jarnail Singh Ji, which left the sangat immersed in spiritual bliss.
Dr. J.P.S. Gill, Vice-Chancellor remarked that the teachings of the Sikh Gurus and the eternal wisdom of Guru Granth Sahib continue to guide humanity towards righteous living, compassion and service. Dr. R.S. Aulakh, Director Students’ Welfare, highlighted that the programme was a collective effort, with employees, teachers, students, and devotees under the umbrella of Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle (GADVASU Unit) contributing wholeheartedly with ‘Tan, Man and Dhan’ towards organising the Akhand Path Sahib.
It is pertinent to mention that Vet Varsity was named after the second Sikh Guru, Guru Angad Dev Ji, and is dedicated to promoting livestock health, education and research in the state. The Guru is revered for his compassion and service, values that resonate strongly with the university’s mission of animal welfare and societal upliftment.
