The Human Resource Management Centre, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana organized a five
days Capacity building and Skill Upgradation training for Non-Teaching Staff.
The programme was designed to equip newly recruited and promoted staff with essential skills and k
nowledge. It focused on sensitizing participants to institutional policies, rules and regulations, record management, accountability, responsiveness, purchase procedures, and various academic and administrative activities of the university.
Eminent speakers and senior staff members of the university shared their valuable expertise and experiences, making the sessions highly engaging, interactive and informative.
Participants expressed that the programme was extremely beneficial and such type of training should be regularly organized for continuous skill enhancement and updated professional growth.
Dr. J.P.S. Gill, Vice Chancellor emphasized that continuous professional development programmes and adherence to high academic standards are vital for institutional growth and excellence. He asserted that these initiatives are essential for enhancing efficiency, promoting adaptability to modern administrative practices, and ensuring quality service delivery.
