VLIIF Incubated Startups Strengthen Partnership to Enhance Dairy Farmer Services

Vety. and Livestock Innovation and Incubation Foundation (VLIIF), the Business Incubator established at Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana is promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in the livestock, dairy and allied sectors by nurturing startups and creating opportunities for collaboration among them. Further strengthening this ecosystem, two VLIIF-incubated startups, Frontrunner Farms India Private Limited (FFIN) and Progressive Dairy Solutions (PDS), have reinforced their partnership by signing an addendum to their Testing, Knowledge Exchange and Farmer Collaboration Agreement. Dr. R. S. Sethi, Director, VLIIF and Dean, College of Animal Biotechnology said that the collaboration reflects VLIIF's efforts to connect incubated startups, enabling them to leverage each other's strengths and jointly develop farmer-centric solutions for the dairy sector. He added that the partnership will enable benchmark herds of Progressive Dairy Farmers Association (PDFA)-linked farmers to continue participating in FFIN's Herd Intelligence Program (HIP).Through this initiative, farmers will receive scientific milk-quality testing, laboratory-based reports and practical advisory services aimed at improving herd health, milk quality and farm profitability.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Pankaj Navani, Chief Executive Officer, FFIN, and Sardar Daljeet Singh, Chairman, PDS, in the presence of Dr. R. S. Sethi and Mr. Nicholas Tomkins, Chief Operating Officer, FFIN, and Mr. Munish Sharma, General Manager, PDS.
Dr. J. P. S. Gill, Vice Chancellor, congratulated the VLIIF-incubated startups on this significant milestone. He stated that such collaborations reflect Varsity's vision of promoting entrepreneurship and translating research-based innovations into technologies that directly benefit farmers. He appreciated VLIIF for creating a vibrant startup ecosystem where incubated enterprises can work together, share expertise and scale technologies for greater impact.
