Curricular Activity (CCA) course.
The visit coincided with the celebration of World Egg Day. Dr. R. N. Chatterjee, Director, ICAR-Directorate of Poultry Research (ICAR- DPR), Rajendranagar, Hyderabad, Telangana, interacted with the students and highlighted the global
scope, emerging trends and career prospects in the poultry industry.
Dr. H. K. Verma, Principal, KCVAS, Amritsar, apprised the students of diverse career opportunities in the poultry sector and emphasized the importance of eggs in human nutrition, particularly their contribution to a balanced and healthy diet.
The visit provided students with valuable exposure, strengthened their understanding of its global significance and enriched their academic learning through expert interactions and participation in World Egg Day celebrations.
