Objectives of the Project:

1. Assessment of knowledge of different target groups on zoonoses.
2. To develop a multi-faced campaign to raise awareness of and to decrease the incidence of zoonoses in Punjab.
3. Generating better awareness for improving the hygiene and sanitation of animals as well as human beings working in farm, slaughter houses, animal husbandry, reserves and zoos, handling pets etc.
4. Awareness for adopting preventive measures for communicable diseases (from animal to animals/human beings) through better understanding of course and effect relationships.
