Quotations are invited from the experienced, technically and financially sound manufacturer/ authorized distributor (copy of authorization must be attached)/dealers/stockiest for the supply of Thermal Cycler and Micro Centrifuge as per the following Terms & Conditions i.e. GST/CST, FOR, etc.

Specifications for the purchase of Thermal Cycler and Micro Centrifuge

Specifications for Thermal Cycler The System should be from internationally repute manufacturers. Block: Gold Plated block or Dual block. (Block should be either Inter-changeable gold-plated 96 wells reaction module or Dual block with a capacity of 96 PCR tubes). Sample capacity : 96/ 0.2ml x 96 PCR Tube Pettier : 6-8 Fast heating ramp rate :4.8? to 5? / sec Cooling rate : 3.8? to 4? / sec Temp. Sensor : 7 Gradient Range : Gradient /Non-gradient Gas tight reaction zone with no moisture condense. Sample Volumes should be selectable and Control Bus Net ability. Should have a Feature of Touchdown and Tm calculation. Should be a platform for open chemistry (all available brands Plastic ware & chemicals can be used). Multiple language selection, direct dialogue operation is desirable. Low noise high efficiency cooling fan The supplier should have ISO/CE certification & should offer a standard warranty of 24 months or more. The supplier must attach the authorized dealership certificate from the manufacture/ distributer. Company should provide a compliance statement as per specification in a tabular form stating the compliance and giving justification, if any supported by technical literature with clear reference of page number, paragraph or lines. This statement must be signed, with the company seal for its authenticity and acceptance that any incorrect or ambiguous information found submitted will result in disqualification of the tender. Firms having a regional / local service centre with reputed technical support will be preferred. Specifications for Micro centrifuge High speed table top refrigerated micro-centrifuge from internationally repute manufacturers. Rotor capacity : 12 to 24 X 1.5 ml to 2ml with max speed of 14000 rpm or more. Temperature : -8 ? or less. Must be able to maintain 4 ? at maximum speed. Low noise level at maximum speed. Rotor must be autoclavable. Digital display of time, temperature and speed. (Desirable points- display of switching between rcf and rpm, separate short spin key, automatic locking and automatic imbalance detection) The supplier should have ISO/CE certification & should offer a standard warranty of 24 months or more Should have more than 50 installations of the instrument in reputed Indian institutes The supplier must attach the authorized dealership certificate from the manufacture/ distributer. Firms having a regional / local service centre with reputed technical support will be preferred Company should provide a compliance statement as per specification in a tabular form stating the compliance and giving justification, if any supported by technical literature with clear reference of page number, paragraph or lines. This statement must be signed, with the company seal for its authenticity and acceptance that any incorrect or ambiguous information found submitted will result in disqualification of the tender. <

The quotations may be sent in the name of “Head, Department of Veterinary Microbiology, College of Veterinary Science, GADVASU, Ludhiana” and must reach by post or by hand on or before 20-12-2017 (up to 01:00 pm) on the following address: “Supdt (Budget), Centralized Administrative Office, College of Veterinary Sciences, GADVASU, Ludhiana. Quotations must be sent in two different sealed envelopes as per detail given below:

Envelope No. 2	“Financial Bid” for the supply of Thermal Cycler and Micro Centrifuge	Detail about price along with all charges including all taxes i.e. GST/CST, FOR, Insurance etc. GST No. must be mentioned. Note: Financial bid should be in F.O.R. Destination basis and should include all types of charges including insurance, custom duty against CDEC, clearance and transport charges etc. supplier will be responsible for clearing the consignment from the custom department and deliver the same to the university, if applicable.

The technical quotations/bid will be opened on 20-12-2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the presence of all sub purchase committee members. The financial bid will be opened only of those bidders who have qualified in the technical bid.

Terms & Conditions:

• The rates of the items must be quoted with all the terms & conditions and must be FOR GADVASU, Ludhiana destination basis and should include all types of taxes and charges including insurance, custom duty against Custom Duty Exemption Certificate, clearance and transport charges etc.
• Supplier will be responsible for clearing the item from the custom department and deliver the same to the University if applicable
• Rates quoted must be valid up to 2-3 months. In case prices slash down or any other benefit (in form of lesser price/lesser tax/foreign exchange rate etc.) it must be passed on to GADVASU.
• The University is exempted from the payment of excise duty and the exemption, wherever applicable, will be availed by providing ED Exemptio0020n Certificate.
• The University will pay only Basic Custom Duty and the exemption, wherever applicable, will be availed by providing against Custom Duty Exemption Certificate.
• Incomplete quotations, without brand name or received after due date/time shall be rejected forthwith. (GST Number must be mentioned)
• University does not take any responsibility for any postal delay in delivery by Registered/ Speed Post or lost in transit of the quotation.
• Conditional and unsigned quotation will not be accepted.
• Delivery period of the items must also be intimated clearly in the quotations, no further correspondence in this regard will be communicated by the University.
• The quotation shall not contain corrections, erasers and overwriting, it will result in rejection of quotation straightway.
• Valid authorization certificate issued by the manufacturer may be attached with the quotation.
• The University reserves all the rights to accept or reject any/all quotation(s) and to increase or decrease quantity or configuration of items specified without specifying any reason. No correspondence will be made on this matter.
• Above mentioned Quantities are tentative and can be increased/ decreased to any extent or can be totally omitted according to sanctioned amount & the firm will have no claim on this account.
• If the date of opening of quotations is declared as Public Holiday then the quotations will be opened on the next working day at the same time. The terms & conditions will remain the same.
• The standing committee will open quotation of only those firms whose quotation is found to be in order.
• On the basis of performance of the distributors/firms/agencies, (i.e. quality of material supply, timely delivery of material etc) the standing committee reserves the rights to reject any or all quotations.
• In case of any dispute, jurisdiction will be Ludhiana District Courts.
• Any detail regarding the item/material can be obtained from office of the Head, Department of Veterinary Microbiology, GADVASU, Ludhiana”
