Quotation Notice
Proposals are invited from the reputed, Goods Office Committee authorised vendors for subscription of following Online Journals for the year 2018:

The quotation must reach by Post/e-mail or by hand on or before 30-01-2018 up to 1.00 p.m. at the following address:

The following terms and conditions will apply for subscription of journals:
1) The vendor will supply bank remittance proof of having paid in advance the subscription amount direct to the publisher on behalf of GADVASU Library. The vendor will also register the name of university with the publisher on behalf of the university and provide registration No./ Account No. of the University.
2) The vendor will submit proof of the bank conversion rate prevailing on the date of raising the invoice and remittance.
3) The vendor will supply copy of the order placed with the publisher on behalf of the GADVASU Library, bank conversion rates duly authenticated and price proof, bank draft No. along with the invoice.
4) Advance payment will be remitted by vendor on behalf of the GADVASU Library. On receipt of the documents at Sr. No. 1-3 above, the invoice will be processed for favour of payment. Efforts will be made to release the payment within one month from the date of receipt of invoice. However, we cannot make firm commitment as some problems may rise beyond our control.
5) The vendor will ensure opening of access to the online journal(s) on the IP address of the university within 10 days of issuance of subscription order under intimation to the University Librarian. IP addresses of the university will be informed by the University Library in subscription order. The access to journals shall remain open to the university for the period of one year from the date of start of access.
6) The vendor must have GST number, which should be mentioned on quotation.
7) Follow-up to ensure uninterrupted access to the online journal(s) on subscription will be the vendors’ sole responsibility.
8) The following certificate will be recorded by vendor on the invoice:-
a. Latest publisher’s subscription rates have been charged.
b. Current bank conversion rates have been charged.
9) Vendor will refund the subscription amount immediately in case the publisher refuses to provide access to online journal(s) in between the subscription period.
10) In case of any dispute it will be subject to the jurisdiction of District courts at Ludhiana.
