   1.      The System should be from Internationally reputed manufacturers and the instrument should have 
          authorized designation of PCR application (INTERNATIONALLY REPUTED BRAND and  
          manufactured at European countries or at USA is preferred)

2.      Gradient Range                       : Gradient /Non-gradient

3.      If it is gradient thermal cycler- It should have a gradient capacity with Dynamic ramping (it should adjust the cycler ramp rate, ensuring that the incubation times Across the Eight Rows during a gradient step are identical)

4.      Thermal gradient technology should optimize PCR assays in a single run by simultaneously testing eight different temperatures across a range of 25°C

5.      It should ensure identical ramp rates which operates with ramp rate: 3-4?C. (Adjustable ramp rate from 0.1° C to 3.0° C to meet critical amplification conditions is ideal)

6.      Block should be either Inter-changeable gold-plated 96 wells reaction module or Block for 96 x 0.2ml PCR Tube,60 x 0.5 ml PCR Tube and One 8x12 PCR plate

7.      It should be of Heating and cooling via peltier technology

8.      Block Temperature Accuracy: should be ≤ ±0.5?C and Block Homogeneity: should be ≤ ±0.5?C; Block Temperature range: 4 to 99?C or more.

9.      System having Flexi-lid concept allowing use of all types of consumables with automatic height adjustment of lid is ideal. All available brands Plastic ware & chemicals can be used. 

10.  Should have reaction volume: 10-100μl or more

11.  Should have a Feature of Tm calculation

12.  Multiple language selection, direct dialogue operation is desirable. 

13.  Low noise (i.e almost nil) high efficiency cooling fan desirable.

14.  Administrator and user login with or without PIN for enhanced security and booking schedule is preferred

15.  It should have Auto Restart facility with user defined time interval when power fails and resumes Instrument status which indicates the step, cycle and remaining runtime during the run is preferred

16.  It should have user folders and more than 500 programs with USB ports and unlimited with USB flash drive expansion

17.  It should operate at ambient Temp:  15-31 Degree Celsius ambient preferred

18.  Should have thermal protection ability to accommodate PCR tubes with flat or dome shaped caps

19.  The system along with UPS for PCR machine with at-least 30 mins to 1 hr back up is preferred.

20.  The supplier should have CE (EU)/IVD /ROHS certification & should offer a standard warranty of 24 months or more. It should have trouble free performance. Also quote AMC charges for further 2 years (with 1 year as free AMC as preferable) Preference will be given to the extended warranty machine.

21.  System along with sample PCR kits including plasticware is desirable

22.  The supplier must attach the authorized dealership certificate from the manufacture/ distributer in Punjab state.

23.  Company should provide a compliance statement as per specification in a tabular form stating the compliance and giving justification, if any supported by technical literature with clear reference of page number, paragraph or lines. This statement must be signed, with the company seal for its authenticity and acceptance that any incorrect or ambiguous information found submitted will result in disqualification of the tender.

24.  Firms having a regional / local service centre with reputed technical support will be preferred.

25.  In case of foreign currency transactions, the day of opening of tender(s) will be considered for the date of financial transaction made and therefore the existing rate of currency conversion on the said date and time would be considered (fixed) for final payment, and no part of any financial or administrative liability would levied to university’s administration or to any personnel in any form, thereafter. Additionally, on foreign currency transactions, the necessary miscellaneous expenditures like making Form15A and its subsequent verification by Chartered Accountant (CA) would be borne by supplier(s)/distributor(s)/company official(s) as deemed necessary

26.  The successful tenderer shall carry out necessary installations free of cost and should provide testing, demonstration of equipment with optimal functional features to the end users at the time of installations. Post-delivery technical support from company recognized or by authorized engineers should be provided as and when required.

27.   Manufacturer/Distributor should provide the list of latest installations of similar equipment in India (Should have more than 100 installations of the instrument in reputed Indian institutes) over a period of at least last two years.

28.  It is certified that the above specification is general and do not favour any specific model/make/company/firm etc.

Specifications for Microcentrifuge 

1. High speed table top refrigerated micro-centrifuge (from internationally repute manufacturers preferred).

2.      Rotor capacity                         : 12 to 24 X 1.5 ml to 2ml with max speed of 16000 rpm or more.

3.      Temperature                : -8 ? or less.

4.      Must be able to maintain 4 ? at maximum speed.

5.      Low noise level at maximum speed.

6.      Rotor must be autoclavable.

7.      Digital display of time, temperature and speed.

(Desirable points- display of switching between rcf and rpm, separate short spin key, automatic locking and automatic imbalance detection)

“Financial Bid” for the supply of Thermal Cycler and "Financial Bid” for the supply of Micro Centrifuge

Detail about price along with all charges including all taxes i.e. GST/CST, FOR, Insurance etc. GST No. must be mentioned.

Note: Financial bid should be in F.O.R. Destination basis and should include all types of charges including insurance, custom duty against CDEC, clearance and transport charges etc. supplier will be responsible for clearing the consignment from the custom department and deliver the same to the university, if applicable.
