Subject: Quotation for Purchase of internet lease-line of 40 Mbps bandwidth (1:1)

The sealed quotations are invited from the Internet Service Providers for the purchase of internet lease line of 40Mbps bandwidth (1:1) connectivity through Optic Fibre Cable/Wireless (UBR) to the University in Administrative Block near the Verka Milk Plant as per as per following performa:

The sealed quotations may be sent in the name of "The University Librarian, GADVASU, Ludhiana” and should reach by Post or by hand on or before 24-08-2020 up to 1:00 pm at the following address:

Terms and Conditions for the Internet Service Providers (ISP):

1. Must be in at least in the category “B” of Internet Service Provider.
2. Should preferably have bandwidth from more than one international gateway connectivity for higher redundancy.
3. Should provide at least 5 static IP addresses. As and when required, they should configure reverse lookup for each static IP addresses.
4. Should configure the internet server (Linux) and install the required software to show link capacity and bandwidth used on site.
5. It will be responsible for end-to-end connectivity with the single order placement.
6. It will be single point of contact for support/services with 365x24x7 helpdesk.      
7. Any complaint regarding connectivity should be attended immediately. Internet connectivity should be maintained and total downtime for 4 hours will be counted and penalty will be charged in terms of increase of one day of the internet connectivity period.
8. If the contract of period of one year expires due to some administrative reasons, the intervening period between the expiry of the old contract and the new contract shall be administered at the lowest rate of the bidder of the new contract,.
9. Maximum time of 4 weeks shall be allowed for the delivery of the services from the date of purchase order.
10. It should have a network operation centre with in 150 Km radius area of GADVASU.
11. The payments shall be made quarterly by the University.
12. The university reserves the right to cancel quotations without assigning any reason.
13. In case of any dispute it will be subject to the jurisdiction of District courts at Ludhiana.

General Terms & Conditions:

1. Valid GST number and HSN code of product must be mentioned on quotation.
2. Incomplete bids or received after due date/time shall be rejected forthwith.
3. Conditional and unsigned quotation will not be accepted.
4. The quotation shall not contain corrections, erasers and overwriting, it will result in rejection of quotation straightway.
5. The rates of the equipment/items must be quoted strictly according to the full Specifications/Configuration as per requirement along with all the terms & conditions and must be FOR GADVASU, Ludhiana destination basis and should include all types of taxes and transport charges etc.
6. Rates quoted must be valid for 1 month. In case prices slash down or any other benefit (in form of lesser price/lesser tax/foreign exchange rate etc.) it must be passed on to GADVASU.
7. University does not take any responsibility for any postal delay in delivery by Registered/ Speed Post or lost in transit of the quotation.
8. In case a holiday is declared on the last date for submission of quotations, the next working day will be the last day to submit the quotations.
9. The University reserves all the rights to accept or reject any/all quotation(s) and to increase or decrease quantity or configuration of items specified without specifying any reason. No correspondence will be made on this matter.
