Quotations are invited from the experienced, technically and financially sound manufacturer/ authorized distributor (copy of authorization must be attached)/dealers/stockiest for the supply of following items as per the following Terms & Conditions i.e. GST/CST, FOR, etc.

1)

Visitor Chair for Conference Hall

Specifications:

  1. The seat and back of the chair should be made up of minimum of 12 mm thick hot pressed plywood and should be upholstered with fabric and molded polyurethane foam.
  2. The back should be covered with ABS and of seat shall be minimum 450 mm (W) X 480 mm (D).
  3. The HR polyurethane foam should be molded with minimum density =45+/-2 kg/m3 and hardness load should be minimum of 16+- 5 kgf as per IS:7888 for 25% or more compression.
  4. The one- piece armrests should be made of black integral skin polyurethane with minimum 50-70 shore hardness and reinforced with M.S. insert.
  5. The armrest should be scratch and weather resistant. The armrest shall be fitted to the seat with seat armrest connecting bracket made of 0.3+-0.022cm thick HR steel.
  6. Pedestal base should be made with 5 twin caster wheels minimum of 5 numbers, 50 mm size and height adjustable facility should be up to 90mm or more.

Conference table (U Shaped of size 20’x6’)

Specifications:

  1. Conference table (modular) U shaped 20 seater,top should be made of minimum 36mm prelaminated twin MDF Board and Edge banded with 2mm thick PVC tape.
  2.  Modesty should be made of minimum 25 mm prelaminated board and side should also be made of minimum 25mm prelaminated board total knockdown construction.

Four drawer filing cabinet

Specifications:

  1. Four drawer filing cabinets should be made of M.S. sheet conforming to commercial quality CR-1, grade-340 of IS513:2008(reaffirmed 2013) fifth revision amdt.no 1 MS sheet conforming to quality grade D of is 513/2008 with AMD.
  2. Four drawer filing cabinets should be made up of MS sheet of minimum 0.8mm thickness of MS sheet. Four drawer filing cabinets shall be 4 of compartments of standard size with silent telescopic channel.
  3. The thickness of drawer front should be minimum 1 mm and shelf thickness.8MM, the sheet thickness of side and back should be minimum .8mm using .8 mm thickness sheet for base.
  4. The material of lock should be made of brass and steel finish with minimum 5 years of guarantee.
  5. The dimension for four drawer filing cabinets should be minimum 1370 mm (H) X 450 mm (W) X 660 mm (D) with powder coated.

The quotations may be sent in the name of “Director, Centre for One Health, GADVASU, Ludhiana” and should reach by post or by hand on or before 19.08.2021 till 10:30 am in the office of the Director, Centre for One Health, GADVASU, Ludhiana. Quotations must be sent in two different sealed envelopes as per detail given below:

“Technical Bid” for the supply of Furniture

Details about the technical specifications, terms of delivery, installation, guaranty/warranty, valid authorization certificate, detail about fitting with complete address along with mobile number, AMC period along with AMC charges if any, printed catalogue/literature etc. should be mentioned.

Envelope No. 2

“Financial Bid” for the supply of Furniture

Detail about price along with all charges including all taxes i.e. GST/CST, FOR, Insurance etc. GST No. must be mentioned.

Note: Financial bid should be in F.O.R. Destination basis and should include all types of charges including insurance, custom duty against CDEC, clearance and transport charges etc. supplier will be responsible for clearing the consignment from the custom department and deliver the same to the university, if applicable.

The technical quotations/bid will be opened on 19.08.2021 at 11:30 am in the presence of all sub purchase committee members. The financial bid will be opened only of those bidders who have qualified in the technical bid.

Terms & Conditions:

  1. GST No. and HSN code must be mentioned on the quotation and the university is exempted from the payment of GST as per notification no. 47/2017, integrated Tax (rate) and the exemption, wherever applicable, will be availed by providing GST Exemption certificate.
  2. The rates of the items must be quoted with all the terms & conditions and must be FOR GADVASU, Ludhiana destination basis and should include all types of taxes and charges including insurance, custom duty against Custom Duty Exemption Certificate, clearance and transport charges etc.
  3. Supplier will be responsible for clearing the item from the custom department and deliver the same to the University if applicable.
  4. Rates quoted must be valid upto 2-3 months. In case prices slash down or any other benefit (in form of lesser price/lesser tax/foreign exchange rate etc.) it must be passed on to GADVASU.
  5. The University is exempted from the payment of excise duty and the exemption, wherever applicable, will be availed by providing ED Exemptio0020n Certificate.
  6. The University will pay only Basic Custom Duty and the exemption, wherever applicable, will be availed by providing against Custom Duty Exemption Certificate.
  7. Incomplete quotations, without brand name or received after due date/time shall be rejected forthwith. University does not take any responsibility for any postal delay in delivery by Registered/ Speed Post or lost in transit of the quotation.
  8. Conditional and unsigned quotation will not be accepted.
  9. Delivery period of the items must also be intimated clearly in the quotations, no further correspondence in this regard will be communicated by the University.
  10. The quotation shall not contain corrections, erasers and overwriting, it will result in rejection of quotation straightway.
  11. The University reserves all the rights to accept or reject any/all quotation(s) and to increase or decrease quantity or configuration of items specified without specifying any reason. No correspondence will be made on this matter.
  12. Above mentioned Quantities are tentative and can be increased/ decreased to any extent or can be totally omitted according to sanctioned amount & the firm will have no claim on this account.
  13. If the date of opening of quotations is declared as Public Holiday then the quotations will be opened on the next working day at the same time. The terms & conditions will remain the same. 
  14. The standing committee will open quotation of only those firms whose quotation is found to be in order.
  15. On the basis of performance of the distributors/firms/agencies, (i.e. quality of material supply, timely delivery of material etc) the standing committee reserves the rights to reject any or all quotations.
  16. In case of any dispute, jurisdiction will be Ludhiana District Courts.
  17.  Any detail regarding the item/material  can be obtained from office of the Director, Centre for One Health, GADVASU, Ludhiana”
