Area of Research Interests

• Worked in the field of Cytogenetics, Molecular biology, Animal Genetics and Breeding and Bioinformatics over a period of 31 years and completed 22 research projects as a PI and Co-PI. Published 107 Research articles in peer reviewed national and international journals. 109 abstracts in national / International conferences. Deposited 40 Gene/nucleotide sequences in NCBI GenBank. Presented 170 Lead papers/Guest lectures in national / International conferences/Training programs etc., Signed two MOA/MOU between Genome Life Sciences and Xinnovem with TANUVAS for the collaborative research on Genomics and drug designing during my tenure. Guided One PhD and two MVSc students as a Guide. As a Member, 27 PhD, 12 MVSc Students, 5 Bioinformatics students for MSc Program. 141 PG research scholars are guided for MSc/M.Tech project work in the field of Bioinformatics, Biotechnology and Animal Genetics. Evaluated 144 PG/PhD Thesis from Animal Genetics and Breeding, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology from various Universities of India.
