| a.Osteology laboratory: Veterinary Osteology Lab provides a space and material for student engaged with hands-on learning and research experiences focused on animal skeletons. The department has skeletons of an ox, horses, dogs, camel, goats, pigs, fowl, emu, pigeon, rat, bones of ox, buffalo, horse, dog, pig, emu and fowl for UG and PG teaching. |  |

| b. Dissection hall: Dissection hall can accommodate up to 60 students at a time. It is equipped with an audiovisual system and projector to display the teaching materials during each practical class. The specimens used are mostly wet specimens in addition to the plastinated specimens. Other teaching materials such as models, illustration diagrams and X-rays, formalin fixed specimens, Bone cutting machine, dissection tables, latest cold storage cabinets for storage of cadaveric specimens necessary for anatomical dissections and research are there. |  |

| c. Museum: Museum of department showcases the varied collection of skeletons, wet specimens, 3D printed models, taxidermy preserved specimens and models of animals depicting topographical anatomy and clinical conditions. |  |

| d. Plastination Lab: The mission of the laboratory has been to provide plastinated specimens to facilitate formalin free teaching. It is well equipped with plastinated specimens, chemical and material required for plastination. |  |

| e. Histology laboratory: Well maintained self-reliant histology lab for analyzing and interpreting the shapes, sizes and architectural patterns of cells and tissues is there in department. Equipments are tissue floatation water bath, slide warmers, paraffin dispensers, block wax trimmer, rotary microtome, tissue embedding moulds, ovens, microscope for digital photography and binocular microscopes for students. |  |

| f. Histotechnique laboratory: The laboratory is well-equipped with pioneering research facilities and equipments such as ultra-microtome, rotary microtome, incubators, chemicals for histomorphology and histochemistry, staining room and microscope room for photomicrographs. |  |

| h. Enzyme Histochemistry lab : This lab (air-conditioned) is for histochemical analysis of fresh tissue as this techniques can give histoenzymic and morphological information simultaneously. For enzyme histochemistry cryostat microtome, digital camera with photomicrographic facilities, chemical, processing and staining procedures are available. |  |
