Postgraduate Admission Rules for Foreign Students
The foreign national candidates may be considered for admission (in absentia) against additional seats.
Their admission will be regulated by the ICAR/ICCR, New Delhi. The foreign students seeking admission must have a valid student visa, declared medically fit (Annexure-F) by the Medical Officer authorized by the Indian Embassy in the home country of the student and must have full medical insurance.
The foreign students will be charged an Institutional Economic Fee @ US $ 2000 per year per student of SAARC country and US $ 4000 for a student from countries other than SAARC countries and as amended from time to time by the sponsoring agency.
The institutional economic fee may not be charged from the candidates admitted by the Govt. of India under certain fellowship/scholarship such as Nepal Aid Fund, Colombo Plan, Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation Programme, General Cultural Scholarship and Cultural Technical Exchange as per specific provisions of the scholarship/fellowship.
Tuition fee and other charges will be applicable as per instructions issued by the university from time to time.
