Quotation Notice

Proposals are invited from the reputed, Goods Office Committee authorised vendors for subscription of following Print journals:

The proposal may be submitted by Post/ by hand or via e-mail on or before 10-03-2017 up to 11.00 a.m. on the following address:

The following terms and conditions will apply for subscription of journals:

• The vendor will supply bank remittance proof of having paid in advance the subscription amount direct to the publisher on behalf of GADVASU Library. The vendor will also register the name of university with the publisher on behalf of the university and provide registration No./ Account No. of the University.
• The vendor will submit proof of the bank conversion rate prevailing on the date of raising the invoice and remittance.
• The vendor will supply copy of the order placed with the publisher on behalf of the GADVASU Library, bank conversion rates duly authenticated and price proof, bank draft No. along with the invoice.
• Advance payment will be remitted by vendor on behalf of the GADVASU Library. On receipt of the documents at Sr. No. 1-3 above, the invoice will be processed for favour of payment. Efforts will be made to release the payment within one month from the date of receipt of invoice. However, we cannot make firm commitment as some problems may rise beyond our control.
• The vendor will supply the journals through a reputed courier service.
• The vendor will send packing slips in duplicate along with the issues of the journals. Signed duplicate packing slips at our end will be treated as proof of the supply received.
• Complete record and follow-up will be vendors’ sole responsibility.
• In case of loss of issues in transit/non supply of journals prorata, full payment will be refunded by vendor through bank draft within a reasonable period.
• The following certificate will be recorded by vendor on the invoice:- Latest publisher’s subscription rates have been charged.
  Current bank conversion rates have been charged.
• Vendor will ensure un-interrupted supply of journals.
• No postage charges will be paid to vendor except where it forms part of subscription price.
• Vendor will refund the subscription amount immediately in case the publisher refuses to supply the same in between the subscription.
• Vendor will ensure that no spoiled, mutilated or torn issue is supplied.
• Vendor will arrange IP addresses for on-line search wherever the same is provided free by the publisher against print subscription.
• Vendor will supply list of journals (out of our subscription list) which will be available on-line without additional payment.
• In case of any dispute it will be subject to the jurisdiction of District courts at Ludhiana.
