SHORT TERM QUOTATION NOTICE

(ENGINEERING WING)

Quotations on plain paper are invited from eligible contractors enlisted with PWD/Railways & other public sector undertakings of the appropriate class on through rate basis below, on or above CSR (overall less/ above on estimated cost) for the following works. The overall rebate on all CSR items will only be entertained. The quotations shall be received up to 12.30 p.m. on 23.04.2018 and shall be opened on the same date i.e. 23.04.2018 at 3.00 p.m. in the presence of committee members or their representatives:-

Terms & Conditions:-

1. Conditional/unsealed/telegraphic/incomplete quotations shall not be accepted.
2. The detailed notice inviting quotations/drawings/estimate & other relevant papers can be seen in the office of Sub-Divisional Engineer (Civil) on any working day during working hours from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
3. The quotations should be valid for 90 days from the date of opening the same.
4. Earnest money in the shape of demand draft/ cheque drawn on any scheduled Bank at Ludhiana in the name of DSW-cum-EO, GADVASU Ludhiana should be attached with the quotation. The quotations without earnest money will not be entertained.
5. Security @5% shall be deducted from the running bills. Besides, a cash Security @5% of the total amount of contract inclusive of the Earnest Money initially deposited with the bid, shall be deposited by the contractor in favour of the DSW-cum-EO as ‘Performance Guarantee in form of a Bank Guarantee of any Scheduled Bank on prescribed format which must be valid for a period of 6 months or security shall be deducted @10% in lieu of bank guarantee, to cover the amount of liquidated damages and/or the compensation of the breach of contract and the same will be released after 6 months from the date of completion of the work.
6. The contractors who are black-listed/ de-bar needs not to apply.
7. The contractors to whom warning letter is issued from undersigned regarding non-execution/ slow progress of minimum three works will not be entertained.
8. The terms & conditions should be clear and unambiguous. Should there be any doubt or obscurity as to the meaning of quotation documents, location of site and drawing etc. must be got clarified in regard to such doubt or obscurity before submitting the quotations.
9. Any other CSR items not included in the estimate will also be entertained at the same overall rebate as quoted by the contractor for the CSR items included in estimate.
10. The Executive Engineer (Civil) reserves the right to reject any or all the quotations without assigning any reason thereof.
11. If the date of opening of quotations is declared as Public Holiday then the quotations will be opened on the next working day on the same time, terms & conditions.
12. In case of any dispute, the jurisdictions will Ludhiana District Courts.
