                Quotations are invited in sealed envelopes from the experienced, technically and financially sound manufacturers ,dealers, distributors, for the purchase of Chaff Cutter with all mechanical and electrical accessories as per the following terms & conditions i.e. Sale Tax/GST//VAT/CST, FOR, etc.

                        The quotations may please be sent in the name of Director of Extension Education, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, Ludhiana. The quotation must reach by post or by hand on or before 15.03.2019 (upto 5:00 pm) on the following address:-

Chaff cutter

Frame: - Super-strong frame of box section steel, mounted on four wheels for transportation. Dimensions: - Total Length (less drawbar) 2700 mm (9 app.) Total Width: - 1550 mm (5 app.), Total Height: - 2800 mm (9 app.) Conveyor Chain: - High Carbon Steel rollers. L-Shaped slats for extra grip. Adjustable for required tension. Feeding Section Height of table 950 mm (3 app.) Length of table 2000 mm (6.5 app.) Claw Clutch provided to control three positions: Features: Forward, Neutral and Reverse Chopping Section 2 Rotating Knives ; adjustable (provision for 4 nos.) 1 Stationary Knife (Bed knife); reversible to give four different wearing edges. Blowing Section 1 steel fabricated impeller with four wings. Lower Housing is reinforced at the wearing area for longer life. Deflector of 3600 for circular adjustment; reinforced at the wearing area for longer life. Transmission Section All gears duly covered. Capacity:- Green fodder: 6-8 tons/hour, Hay: 1-1 1/2tons/hour &Silage:- 6-7 tons/hour. Length of cut:- 25 mm to 40 mm. For 15 mm cut the rotating knives are increased to 4 nos. Power required 10 hp. The quotations will be opened on 18.03.2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the presence of all sub purchase committee members.

Terms & Conditions:-

1. The rates of the item must be quoted strictly according to the full Specifications/Configuration as per requirement along with all the terms & conditions and must be F.O.R GADVASU, Ludhiana destination basis and should include all types of taxes and charges including insurance, custom duty against Custom Duty Exemption Certificate, clearance and transport charges etc.
2. Supplier will be responsible for clearing the item from the custom department and deliver the same to the University.
3. It is mandatory to send quotations in sealed envelope along with name of items to be supplied, otherwise quotation will be rejected straightway.
4. Rates quoted must be valid upto 2-3 months. In case prices slash down or any other benefit (in form of lesser price/lesser tax/foreign exchange rate etc.) it must be passed on to GADVASU.
5. The University is exempted from the payment of excise duty and the exemption, wherever applicable, will be availed by providing ED Exemption Certificate.
6. The University will pay only Basic Custom Duty and the exemption, wherever applicable, will be availed by providing against Custom Duty Exemption Certificate.
7. Incomplete quotations or received after due date/time shall be rejected forthwith.
8. University does not take any responsibility for any postal delay in delivery by Registered/ Speed Post or lost in transit of the quotation.
9. Conditional and unsigned quotation will not be accepted.
10. Delivery period of the items must also be intimated clearly in the quotations, no further correspondence in this regard will be communicated by the University.
11. The quotation shall not contain corrections, erasers and overwriting, it will result in rejection of quotation straightway.
12. Must attach valid authorization certificate issued by the manufacturer otherwise quotation will be rejected straightway.
13. The University reserves all the rights to accept or reject any/all quotation(s) and to increase or decrease quantity or configuration of items specified without specifying any reason. No correspondence will be made on this matter.
14. VAT/TIN/CST/GST no. must be mentioned on the quotation otherwise quotation shall be rejected.
15. If the date of opening the quotations is declared as Public Holiday than the quotations will be opened on the next working day on the same time, terms & conditions.
