             Sealed Quotations are being invited from the authorized experienced, technically and financially sound manufacturer/authorized distributor/dealers/stockiest for the following as per the following Terms and Conditions i.e. GST, FOR etc.:

Note: The GST rate may be quoted keeping in view the Notification No.47/2017 Integrated Tax (Rate) dated 14th November, 2017 &/Or Notification No.:10/2018-Integrated Tax (Rate) Dt. 25th January, 2018, &/OR Notification No.45/2017-Central Tax (Rate) dated 14th Nov. 2017 issued by the Govt. of India.

            The quotations may be sent in the name of “Professor-cum-Head, Department of Teaching Veterinary Clinical Complex, College of Veterinary Science” and should reach by post or by hand on or before 19-03-2019 till 02:15 pm at the following address :-

Quotations shall be opened on dated 19-03-2019 at 02:30 pm.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Valid Authorization Letter must attached otherwise the quotation will be rejected straightway.
2. The rates of the items must be quoted with all the Terms and Conditions and must be FOR GADVASU, Ludhiana destination basis and should include all types of Taxes and Charges including Insurance, Custom Duty against Custom.
3. Supplier will be responsible for clearing the item from the Custom department and deliver the same to the University, if applicable.
4. Rates quoted must be valid up to 2-3 months. In case prices slash down or any other benefit (in form of lesser price/lesser tax/foreign exchange rate etc.) it must be passed on to GADVASU.
5.  The University is exempted from the payment of Excise Duty and the exemption, wherever applicable, will be availed by providing ED Exemption Certificate.
6. The University will pay only Basic Custom Duty and the exemption, wherever applicable, will be availed by providing against Custom Duty Exemption Certificate.
7. Incomplete quotations, without Brand name or received after due date/time shall be rejected forthwith.
8. University does not take any responsibility for any Postal delay in delivery by Registered/Speed Post or lost in transit of the Quotation.
9. Conditional and un-signed quotation will not be accepted.
10. Delivery period of the items must also be intimated clearly in the quotations, no further correspondence in this regard will be communicated by the University.
11. The Quotation shall not contain corrections, erasers and overwriting, it will result in rejection of quotation straightway.
12. The University reserves all the rights to accept or reject any/all quotation(s) and to increase or decrease quantity or configuration of items specified without specifying any reason. No correspondence will be made on this matter.
13. Above mentioned Quantities are tentative and can be increased/decreased to any extent or can be totally omitted according to sanctioned amount and the firm will have no claim on this account.
14. If the date of opening of quotations is declared as Public Holiday then the quotations will be opened on the next working day at the same time. The Terms and Conditions will remain the same.
15. The standing committee will open quotation of only those firms whose quotation is found to be in order.
16. On the basis of performance of the distributors/firms/agencies (i.e Quality of material supply, timely delivery of material etc. ) the standing committee reserves the rights to reject any or all quotations.
17. In case of any dispute, jurisdiction will be Ludhiana District Courts.
18. Distributor / dealers debarred by GADVASU (intimated through Memo No.:CVU/PC/2015-16/2394-2443 dated 21-8-2015) are not eligible to quote.
19. Any detail regarding the item/material can be obtained from office of the “Professor-cum-Head, Department of Teaching Veterinary Clinical Complex, College of Veterinary Science, GADVASU, Ludhiana.
