Area of Research Interests

Supervise and personally conduct research in the following areas

  • Virology: Isolation and characterization of some of the important viruses of livestock, poultry and companion animals
  • Molecular Diagnostics: Nucleic acid based and recombinant antigen based diagnostics for some of the important viral and bacterial diseases.
  • Vaccinology: Novel vaccines especially marker vaccines and improvement of existing vaccines using newer adjuvants
  • Others: Stem cell technology.
