  • Investigation and control of various infectious diseases e.g. Brucellosis, H.S., FMD, Trypanosomiasis, Colibacillosis, Salmonellosis, J.D. etc.
  • Seroprevalence of Neosporosis was recorded for the first time in Punjab state/India.
  • Seroprevalence studies were conducted to know the prevalence of Brucellosis in Punjab state.
  • Department successfully completed two NATP research projects as mentioned below
  • National Agriculture Technology Project on Animal Health Information System through Disease Monitoring & Surveillance (AHI_DMS).
  • National Agriculture Technology Project on Weather Based Animal Disease Forecast (WB_ADF).
  • Monitoring of various toxicants (nitrate, cyanide, oxalate, insecticides) in fodder, water and blood of farm animals.
