Actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching especially in the field of histology, embryology and splanchnology. Authored practical manuals and prepared resource material for undergraduate and postgraduate students.Nominee of Dean Postgraduate studies for the department. Member of committee for compilation of intern’s manual as a representative of basic subjects.Involved in the revision of undergraduate course curriculum deliberations held by VCI.

Area of Research Interests

Working on histogenesis and organogenesis of various organ systems of buffalo. Completed as principal investigator one ICAR ad-hoc research project entitled ‘Anatomical and histomorphochemical studies on prenatal development of gastrointestinal tract and associated glands of buffalo’. The other area of research interest is to study the effect of drugs/ insecticides / pesticides on various organs/ systems of domestic animals.
