Dr Ramneek Verma, Professor-cum-Head, Dept. of Microbial and Environmental Biotechnology.
Dr. Ramneek is currently acting as Dean, College of Dairy Science and Technology. Earlier he served as Director, College of Animal Biotechnology. He received his B.V.Sc. and M.V.Sc. from PAU and Ph.D. from Lincoln University, Christchurch, New Zealand under NZODA Fellowship. He also won Lincoln University Fund of Excellence for Research. He has more than 25 yrs. experience in teaching and research. He has more than 100 international and national research publications to his credit and has been conferred with number of Best Research presentation awards by professional scientific societies in India & Abroad. Widely travelled Dr. Ramneek attended various national and international conferences/symposia/workshops/ trainings/refresher courses and delivered invited lectures. He has successfully organized two Winter Schools sponsored by ICAR as Director and, two International workshops/trainings in collaboration with University of Saskatchewan, Canada as Organizing Secretary.
